i think that rituals have been an important part in the religions because it helps to recognize them as religion, they produce rituals to worship their deities

Ritual and Celebrations have a lot to do with embedding belief and culture into the common people, it helps tie the religion to the people. As a religion gains ground as well, it develops a lot of power and symbolism through these rituals.
