so start from 320
subtract 293 from 320
320-293=27
divide 27 by 8
27/8=3 and 3/8
add that to 30
33 and 3/8 8's will fit
the teacher probably wants how many whole 8's can fit so get rid of the 3/8 and just put 33 8's
