A 250 ml bottle of water treatment liquid will treat up to 625 litres of water. Given that 1 cubic meter=1000 litres, how much treatment liquid is needed to treat a water tank of 224m cubed when full. Please show workings. Many thanks

so 224 cubic meters=224 times 1000 liters=224000 leters

so

250 ml=625 leter
divide 250 by 625 to find how many ml per liter
250/625=0.4
therefor
0.4ml=1 leter treted

so

224000 leters
0.4 ml per liter
224000 times 0.4=89600 ml total
89600=89.6 liters

total is 89600 ml or 89.6 liters

224 m cubed corresponds to:
224×1000=224,000 liters of water in your water tank.
Each bottle of liquid can treat 625 liters of water so you need:
224,000/625=358.4 bottles (a little bit less than 358 and a half bottle) corresponding to:
358.4×250=89,600 ml of treatment liquid.
