Answer: The main source of energy for the cells of the body is mitochondria. Adenosine tri phosphate (ATP) is produced in mitochondria using energy stored in food. The cell will have more energy and the productivity of the cell will be higher.

Example: Fat cells of the body has highest number of mitochondria because it stores energy.
