Subtract that from original length
9.45- 1.89= 7.56

3.72 (third piece)

Now add the first and third piece together and subrtact it from the whole length and it will give you the length of the second piece.

3.72+1.89= 5.61
9.45- 5.61= 3.84 (second piece)
