Which list of values is ordered from least to greatest? A. |–5|, 0, 3, –|–4| B. –7, –|–3|, 0, |–4| C. –|6|, |–3|, 1, 4 D. |–12|, –|–5|, 2, |–8|

Since absolute value is the distance from that number to 0, taking the absolute value of a negative number would be essentially making it positive. Putting a negative in front of the absolute value would make the number negative, however.
A. 5, 0, 3, -4: sort of in order from greatest to least, but not really what we're looking for.
B. -7, -3, 0, 4: this one's in ascending order, so I believe this is the correct option.
C. -6, 3, 1, 4: not really in any particular order whatsoever.
D. 12, -5, 2, 8: not in any order either.
