In a class, 36 out of 40 students wear glasses. what fraction of the students do not wear glasses?

In this case, I did 4

36 divieded by 4 is 9

40 divieded b 4 is 10

So you get 9/10 do wear glasses, so your answer is 1/10

So, 4 out of 40 people do not wear glasses. So 4/40. Divide both numbers but 2 and it’s 2/20 which simplifies down to 1/10. So the simplified answer is 1/10.
