Read the following quote by Tecumseh: “These lands are ours. No one has a right to remove us, because we were the first owners. The great Spirit has appointed this place for us, on which to light our fires, and here we will remain. As to boundaries, the Great Spirit knows no boundaries, nor will his red children acknowledge any.” To what specific territory was Tecumseh referring when he spoke of “these lands"?

Tecumseh is speaking of his homeland in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was the leader of the Shawnee tribe. He was known for the War of 1812 also. You should look into it, it is rather intriguing.
