Cone's volume is
V = (1)/(3)Sh
where S - surface area, h - height
Surface area =
\pi r^2

r = 18/2=9
h= 14
π = 3.14

V= (1)/(3) \pi r^2h= (1)/(3) *3.14*9^2*14= (1)/(3) *3.14*81*14=27*14*3.14[/tex]

V = 1186.92
in.^3

Answer:

1186.92 in^3

Explanation:

Known Variables:

Diameter = 18 in ⇒ Radius = 9

Height = 14 in

Pi = π = 3.14

Known Equation:

Volume of Cone =
\pi r^(2) h / 3 = 3.14* (9 in)^2 * 14 in / 3 = 1186.92 in^3

The exact solution is attached also (with pi's full digits)
