Solve the following system using the substitution method.

9x + 8y = 15
-5x + 12y = -107

x = (15 - 8y)/9

-5[(15 - 8y)/9] + 12y = -107

(-75/9) + (40/9) + 12y = -107

y = -8.59

x = [15 - 8(-8.59)]/9

x = 9.3
(x,y) = (9.3, -8.59)
