Can anybody explain to me what caused the french revolution? I know the unfair economic system played part as well as major taxes but are there any other causes?

ineffective leaders, civil unrest, and deficit spending were some of the main causes. louis xvi did nothing for the french citizens which lead to unrest among the people. he spent all of the french budget on irrelevant things, leading the country to bankruptcy. this made him an ineffective leader.
hope this helps!
