Oxygen enters our body through our lungs. From there, it is carried by lungs and then to the heart. It is from the heart that the oxygenated blood is carried to different parts of the body.

Blood flows from the heart to the pulmonary artery. The blood then goes from the artery to the lungs where the hemoglobin (found in red blood cells) picks up the oxygen.
