Two spherical balloons are filled with water. The first balloon has a radius of 3 cm, and the second has a radius of 6 cm.

How much more water is in the larger balloon than in the smaller balloon?
Use 3.14 to approximate pi, and express your answer in the hundredths.

Ok so the volume of a sphere is V = (4
\pi r^3) / 3

So in the 3cm sphere the volume is V = 4
\pi 27 / 3 --> V = 36
\pi

and in the 6cm sphere: V = 4
\pi 216 / 3 --> V = 288
\pi

So it's 8 times bigger! (288 / 36 = 8)
