Write the inequality in interval notation
X is greater than or equal to negative 4

Here is our inequality.

x \geq -4

Let's go from least to greatest, and add in infinity as our maximum.

-4 \leq x \ \textless \ \infty

Our interval notation would look like this.

[-4,\ \infty)
We put the lower bound, then the higher bound, using brackets instead of parentheses if x can also be equal to that value.
