5. If you multiply a negative by a negative you get a positive, so if you take it in pairs, multiplying 6 negatives is the same as multiplying 3 positives, and therefore the answer is positive, but with 5 negatives an one positive, it is the same as a positive* a negative, and your answer is negative. so 5
