A certain forest covers an area of 3100 km2. Suppose that each year this area decreases by 7.5%. What will the area be after 5 years? Round your answer to the nearest square kilometer.

I think 2099 Km^2.
I tried using the following sequence of operation where I used the 7.5% decrease in area for each year:
