I just want to tell you what a term is because your going to really need it when you go into middle school. So a term is where there is a number or a a number with a variable with it or a variable by itself. For example if there is 4x + 6m + 3 + X you would have 4 terms because you have 4 numbers along with variables and a variable by itself and with some numbers which are Co -Efficient. Co-Efficient is when a number is with a variable the number along with the variable is called a Co-Efficient. Both of them together is called a term so now you know :) The whole equation is called an expression if a a number is by itself like 4 + 3m the 4 would be considered as a constant because its just a normal number standing by itself.
