To build a fence is perimeter so 45.5 x 2= 91
155 - 91= 64
Since that is still two sides you divide 64 by 2 and get 32.
Then area is l x w so 32 x 45.5= 1456

Answer with explanation:

Total Perimeter of the rectangular fence = 155 feet

→Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × [Length + Breadth]

→Length of rectangular fence = 45.5 feet

→155 = 2 × [45.5 +Breadth]

→155 = 91 + 2 × Breadth

→155 - 91 =2 × Breadth

→64 = 2 × Breadth

Dividing both sides by , 2 we get

Breadth = 32 feet

Area of pasture which is in the shape of rectangle = Length × Breadth

= 45.5 feet × 32 feet

=1456 square feet
