Q=mc(Tf-Ti)
= (9Kg)(1.68 KJ/KgC)(97-12)
= 1285.2 KJ
~ 1300 KJ

Answer:

Q = 1300 kJ

Step-by-step explanation:

As we know that heat require to change the temperature of the object is given as

Q = mC \Delta T

here we know that

m = mass = 9 kg

C = 1.68 kJ/kg

\Delta T = 97 - 12

\Delta T = 85 degree C

now from above formula we will have

Q = 9* 1.68 * 10^3 * 85

Q = 1300 kJ
