First you need to work out what (8.12×105=?) Then (5.27×105=?) And add them together so (8.12×105)+(5.27×105)=the answer to your question

Answer:

The answer is is 1.339 x 106 gallons.

Explanation:

The result is 13.39. This gives us 13.39 x 105 gallons. However, because the base must be greater than 1, but less than 10, we must move the decimal 1 place to the left which increases the exponent of 5 to 6.
