the answer is C) oxygen.
It accepts hydrogen, and during the process of respiration, it forms H2O molecules, which are exhaled as water vapour.

The answer is C. oxygen. Oxygen is the acceptor for hydrogen because in an aerobic reaction oxygen is used.
