V = (\pi *h*r^2 )/(3) = ( \pi *8*12^2)/(3) = (1152 \pi )/(3) = 384 \pi = 1206.37157898
D. 1206 cm^3

volume=1/3 times area of base times height
area of base=area of a circle=pi times radius^2

volume=1/3 times pi times radius^2 times height

height=8
radiu=12

volume=1/3 times pi times 12^2 times 8
volume=1/3 times pi times 144 times 8
volume=1/3 times pi times 1152
volume=pi times 384
volume=384pi cm^3 cubic centimeters

aprox pi to 3.14
voolume=384 times 3.14=1205.76
closest one is d

the answer is D
