Vikings traveled mostly by water from the Caspian Sea in eastern Europe as far west as North America, making hit-and-run raids on churches as they searched for gold and silver. Option C is correct.

The Vikings were the people who inhabited from the 8th century to the 11th century in Scandinavia. They came from what we know today as Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. During the Viking age, they sailed around most of Europe, raiding, trading and spreading their influence.
