Why is it a good idea to try to reduce the chances of errors happening in an experiment?

Hi! I think that it's a good idea to try and reduce the chances of errors happening in an experiment because..

A. It saves time and/or clean up afterwards.

B. It might bring you closer to an answer for the experiment.

*And just a question, what is this for? I'm interested ^_^*
