(2c - 1)(5c - 7)
2c(5c - 7) - 1(5c - 7)
2c(5c) - 2c(7) - 1(5c) - 1(-7)
10c² - 14c - 5c + 7
10c² - 19c + 7

For these questions, REMEMBER... FOIL or
First
Outside
Inside
Last

multiply both of the first terms 2c x 5c

then do the outsides of the terms 2c x -7

then the insides -1 x 5c

then the lasts -1 x -7

now add them all together

10
c^(2) - 14c - 5c + 7 = 10
c^(2) - 19c + 7
