I got 18 and 23.. firstly I tried numbers around 20(since half of 40 is 20) then I worked my way.... It took me around 5-10 mins.... (yes I'm a slow mathematician)

18 and 23. I found this answer using the guess and check method. Since the difference is only five, the two numbers are around half of 41. I began by finding the numbers around 20 that were five apart.
