A recipe card for a ratio of sugar to flower to be 5:1 if you used 35 ounce of sugar how many ounces of flower would you need to use

Sugar: 5 and 35

Flower: 1 and x
X=? 5/1 and 35/x
35 x 1=35
5 x (x)?
35 divide 5 is equal 7
Answer: x=7
