I solved this via trial & error, not much to say, other than all other combinations of seven coins did not total to $0.61, so here you go.
1 quarter ($0.25)
2 dimes ($0.20)
3 nickels ($0.15)
1 penny ($0.01)
________________
7 coins ($0.61)
