$93.75 = $125 × n
$93.75/$125 = n
n = 0.75 = 75/100 = 75%
The percent discount is how much taken off the total price, so . . .
100% - 75% = percent discount = 25%
. . . answer is 25% (percent discount)

divide 93.75 by 125 = 75%
however, that is not the discount.
it is the difference of the 100 and the discount.
to find the discount, you do 100 - 75 = 25
the discount is 25%
