A farmer divides 20 acres of land into 1/4- acre sections. Into how many sections does the farmer divide her land?

20 divided by 1/4 is the same as 20 x 4/1 (reciprocal) 20 x 4 =80 80 sections hope this helps

We have to calculate the area of each section.

Since 1/4 acre = 0.25 acres

Therefore number of sections formed by farmer will be = Total area of the land/area of one section = 20/0.25 = 80
