what is the surface area if a rectangular prism that is 18 1/2 ft. long, 4 5/6 ft deep and 5 1/3 ft ht?

\sf~SA=2(wl+hl+hw)

Plug in what we know:


\sf~SA=2((4(5)/(6))(18(1)/(2))+(5(1)/(3))(18(1)/(2))+(5(1)/(3))(4(5)/(6)))

Multiply:


\sf~SA=2((89(5)/(12))+(98(2)/(3))+(25(7)/(9))

Add:


\sf~SA=\boxed{\sf213(31)/(36)}
