we know that

a piece of cable
8.5 cm long weighs
52 grams

so

by proportion

(52)/(8.5)(grams)/(cm)=(x)/(10)(grams)/(cm) \\ \\8.5*x=10*52\\ \\x=(10*52/)8.5\\ \\x=61.18\ grams

therefore

the answer is

61.18\ grams
