You roll a number cube twice. Find the probability of the event. Show your work for each problem.

1.) Rolling a 5 then a 3

2.) Rolling an even then an odd

3.) The probability that your ticket will be chosen in a drawing is 6%. There are 250 tickets in the drawing. How many tickets are yours?

1) the probability of rolling 5 is 1/6 and probability of rolling 3 is 1/6, so the probability of rolling 5 then 3 is 1/6 * 1/6 = 1/36

2) There are three even numbers on cube and three odd numbers.

So the probability of rolling even number is 3/6 = 1/2
And the probability of rolling odd number is 3/6 = 1/2

So rolling even then odd would be 1/2 * 1/2 = 1/4

3) If there are 250 tickets, and probability that your ticket will be chosen in a drawing is 6%, then that mean 6% of 250 tickets are your.

6% * 250 = 6/100 * 250 = 1500 / 100 = 15

15 of these tickets are yours.
