\frac{2}{5}*8. \frac{2}{5}*8= \frac{16}{40} \frac{16}{40} can be simplified. The GCF of 16 and 40 is 8 so we are going to do \frac{16}{40} divided by 8. \frac{16:8}{40:8}= \frac{2}{5}
