X/x+3=2/5. We are going to do 3-2/5. The first thing you do is make 3 a fraction:
(3)/(1)

. Now the subtraction problem is
(3)/(1)- (2)/(5)

Next we have to make common denominators for
(3)/(1)

and

$(3*5)/(1*5)= (15)/(5) \ and \ (2*1)/(5*1)= (2)/(5)$ Now we are going to subtract.
(15)/(5)- (2)/(5)= (13)/(5)

So, X/x=
