Solve for x3x^2 +2x -5=0

X=1

3x^2 + 2x -5 =0

We can factor this function

( 3x +5) ( x-1) =0

Using the zero product property

3x+5 =0 x-1 =0

3x =-5 x=1

x = -5/3 x=1
