Can anyone tell me what a math puzzle is there are five question i have to do

Which expression has a value of 36, using only four 4s and any of the following: + , – , · , ÷, exponents, and/or parentheses?

A. \\ 44 / (4 \cdot 4)=44 / 16=(44)/(16)=(11)/(4)=2 (3)/(4) \\ot= 36 \\ \\ B. \\ 44-4-4=40-4=36 \\ \\ C. \\ (4 \cdot 4)+(4 \cdot 4)=16+16=32 \\ot= 36 \\ \\ D. \\ (4+4+4) \cdot 4=12 \cdot 4=48 \\ot= 36

The answer is B.
