a^2+b^2=c^2
a and b are legs
c=hyposonuse
a=10
b=10
isosolees means that the legs are the same legnth
so subsitute
10^2+10^2=c^2
100+100=c^2
200=c^2
square root both sides
√200=c
the legnth of the hypotonuse=√200
