John buys 3 shirts and 4 pairs of pants for $133.85. Jim also buys something. He buys 4 shirts and 3 pairs of pants. He spends $127.95. Set up and solve an equation that will determine how much one shirt and pant will cost

We suppose that the price of shirt is x and the price of pant is y. Then according to the question, we can get equation that 3x+4y=133.85 and 4x+3y=127.95. Then we can get that x=15.75 and y=21.65
