the quilt is a square all sides are the same perimeter = sum of the sides 8 x 4= 32 ft is the perimeter hope this helps

Because it was 8 feet long and has a 64 sq foot area, it's width is 64/8=8. Thus, it's perimeter is 2*(8+8), or 32.
