If g(x) =
√(x-7) , find g(8), g(32) and g(80).

g(x)=
√(x-7)


this means if you put in 8 for x then you will get g(8)=
√(8-7)= √(1)=1

so subsitute and solve

g(8)=
√(8-7)= √(1)=1  or -1


g(32)=
√(32-7)= √(25)=5 or -5


g(80)=
√(80-7)= √(73)= aprox 8.544 but √73 would be acceptable
