If the weather becomes stormy for a short time and then becomes colder which type of front has most likely passed

The answer is a warm front. This is well-defined as the transition zone anywhere a warm air mass is substituting a cold air mass. Warm fronts usually move from southwest to northeast and the air after a warm front is warmer and moister than the air forward of it.
