Under the pen name Sarah Leigh Fogleman, Ally Carter is a well-known American author of young adult fiction. On January 1st, 1974, she was born in Oklahoma. The Gallagher Girls and Heist Society series, which focus on young protagonists engaged in espionage and robbery, respectively, are some of Carter's popular novels.
Carter followed her career in agricultural economics at Oklahoma State University. Before deciding to follow her passion for writing, she worked in a range of fields after graduating from college, like finance and law. She wrote plenty more young adult novels after her 2005 debut, "Cheating at Solitaire," was her first, which was published in 2005.
Over twenty countries have published Carter's novels, which have won multiple awards and prizes. Strong, likeable characters, innovative plots, and fast-paced action have become characteristics of her books.
