When sulfuric acid and potassium hydroxide neutralize each other to make water and potassium sulfate, how is water formed?

It's formed by the hydrogen ion of the acid and the hydroxide of the base.


H_(2) SO_(4) + 2KOH --\ \textgreater \ K_(2) SO_(4) + 2H_(2)O
Sulfuric Acid + potassium superoxide --> Potassium Sulfate + Heavy Water
