Can some one tell me the way to convert polar points to rectangular? Example: (-1, 5pi/2)

No problem. When you have a point with polar coordinates of ( R, Θ ),
its Cartesian (rectangular) coordinates are:

X = R cos( Θ )

Y = R sin( Θ )
