Answer – A (Sedimentary; Metamorphic)
When sufficient heat and pressure is applied, sedimentary rock can be transformed directly into metamorphic rock. As a matter of fact, metamorphic rocks were at a time sedimentary rocks (or sometimes igneous rocks) that have been changed by heat and pressure.
