For the second half of the question, the answer is yes because you can multiply 5/8 by 2 and get 10/16 or you could divide 10/16 by 2 and get 5/8. Hope this helps!

to turn a mixed number into a improper fraction you multiply 4 by 33 and then add 3 to that number. after this you put that over 4 and this will give you 135/4. Yes they did walk the same distance because you multiply 5/8 by 2 and it will give you 10/16
