3t+4=t+13
3t-t=13-4
2t=9

t=4.5

To solve this just do the following
3t+4=t+13
Subtract 4 from each side
3t=t+9
Add like terms
2t=9 (we subtract because its on the other side of the equation)
Divide by 2
t=4.5
So your end answer is 4.5
