Answer:

At 20 tons the cost will be the same for both, $6,500

Explanation:

First, for company 1 you need to subtract $4925 by $3350 which equals 1,575 to get the amount added for each ton.

Then, for company 2 you need to subtract 5250 by 4000= 1,250

Lastly add 4925 by 1,575= 6,500 and 5,250 by 1,250= 6,500 too.
