Answer;
Sound waves
Explanation;
Sound waves are type of mechanical waves, which require a material medium for transmission.
These waves are transmitted through various medium, which can either be solids, liquids and gases.
The transmission of mechanical waves occurs as a result of vibration of particles in the medium which results in the transfer of energy from one point.
The vibration of particles in a medium transfers disturbance from the point of the source to another point away from the source.
